“Information” means both Personal Information as well as any anonymously collected information collected while using the Services.
“Invitee” is any person who a User schedules a meeting with, but is not a registered User of, Skej.
“Personal Information” means any data or information that could be used to personally identify any person or User of our Site.
“Services” means any and all of the services we provide, including, but not limited to, scheduling services, account management, customer support, analytics, etc.
“Site” means any website, email, text, graphics, videos, and photographs that we make available to you through any of our website properties, apps, plug-ins, or APIs.
“User” means any registered user of Skej.
2. Information We Collect
Account & Billing Information: If you register as a User, we require certain information which may include, but is not limited to, your name, company name, email address, phone number, address, user name, password, etc. If you become a paid User, a third party payment processor, Stripe, will collect your payment information such as credit card number, expiration date, and billing address. We will only have access to the last 4 digits of your credit card and billing address. All other information shared will be governed by the services agreement between you and Stripe.
Third Party Integrations: You may choose to connect a calendar, contact list, or video integration via a third party (i.e. Google, Zoom, Calendly, etc.) with Skej through one of our built in integrations. By giving us access to your calendar and contacts, we will be able to view and store information about your schedule, availability, existing meetings and contact list. Our use of this data is viewed from these third parties, like Google’s API, and adheres to all third party terms, such as Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements
Meeting Information: By including Skej on scheduling emails, Slack messages, text messages, WhatsApp message, or any additional communication channels, you are giving Skej access to those specific email and message threads. Skej will collect information from these messages about your meetings such as your name and email, Invitee names and emails, meeting times and duration, locations, and any other pertinent info.
Marketing Information: You may choose to sign up for certain marketing communications such as our mailing list even if you are not a User. In order to join we may require information such as your name, email address, and consent.
Automatic Data Collection:
The Site and affiliated third parties may use “cookies” (a small data file sent to Skej from your hard drive), embedded scripts, pixels, or web beacons (“Tracking Technologies”) to collect information automatically as you interact with the website. By utilizing these technologies, we can enhance your experience with our Site and create a more customized and seamless user experience.
Cookies enable us to track your interaction with Skej, including keeping you logged in to the Skej website. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies when using our Site for the first time. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to use interactive features of this Site that depend on cookies.
Usage Data tracks how you are using the Services, including how many meetings you’re setting up, how many interactions you have with Skej, and other relevant statistics which help us provide analytics for you, and also help us monitor and understand how our users interact with the Site and its Services.
Log and Device Data may be collected, such as your Internet protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, operating system and platform, pages viewed, time spent on the site, and other relevant statistics. The data we receive is anonymous and we use this data to see where users are clicking and where they are spending their time which helps us improve our Store and customer service standards.
3. How We Use Your Information
Provide our Services: We use your account information in order to create and maintain your account, and verify access to our Site. We use your billing information in order to process subscription payments, verify your eligibility to use our Services, and notify you of current and future charges.
We use the information provided in emails, direct messages, texts, and other communications you include Skej on in order to find and present availability, scheduling and modify meetings, update preferences, and save contact information. Skej may also process these messages to complete additional tasks and responsibilities you request Skej to do.
Data from third party calendar integrations are solely used for the purpose of scanning your availability, scheduling meetings, modifying meetings, sending meeting invites to your contacts, and setting your contact meeting preferences.
By integrating your account with Zoom, we will be able to include your custom Zoom video link into your calendar events.
Prevent Fraud: Having your most up to date information is important for us to prevent fraudulent access to the Site, address errors, and prevent spam.
Improve the Site: Anonymous tracking information, and meeting analytics are used internally so we can continually improve our Services, add new features, and ensure Skej is working accurately and efficiently.
Communications: From time to time we may reach out to you regarding your account and the Services. These transactional communications may be related to security, billing, general account information, and account administration. We also may reach out as a response to any inquiries that are sent to us.
Marketing Communications: You will have the ability to opt-in to marketing communications. These communications may announce new product features, give tips on best practices, and include awesome content. You will always have the ability and option to unsubscribe from these messages.
Legal: We may use your Personal Information if required by law or in order to comply with any federal, state, local law, or court order.
4. Sharing and Disclosure of Your Personal Information
General Disclosure: Except for the reasons listed below, we will not sell, or lease your Personal Information to any third parties without your express consent to such disclosure.
Service Providers & Vendors: We may disclose your Personal Information to certain third parties for the sole purpose of administering and supporting the Services on our behalf, such as payment processors, analytics providers, and customer support. OpenAI: When you Cc Skej on an email or tag Skej in a message thread, we use a third party AI language model like OpenAI’s ChatGPT to determine the meaning of your message so that we can schedule or modify meetings on your behalf and provide our services. If you include personal information in the emails or messages that Skej is added to, such as names, meeting information, etc. then that information will be shared with OpenAI and bound by their terms and privacy policies.
Business Transactions: If we undergo a sale, acquisition, merger, bankruptcy, or any other transaction which includes the transfer of our assets, we may include your data as part of that transaction. We will ensure that your Information is used for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, and if that changes, the new owners of the data will inform you of any changes.

User Account. We will retain the information submitted for your user account as long as you are an active User of Skej. We will also retain your contact information if you choose to continue receiving marketing or other communications from us.
Legal Obligations. We will keep your Personal Information as long as it is necessary to comply with any laws, court orders, and the like.
Anonymous Information: We may retain anonymous information as described above as long as it’s legally allowed so that we can continue improving the Site and its Services.

Marketing and Promotional Communications: If you have consented to receive any email communications from us, you can unsubscribe by either following the instructions included in each email we send such as the “unsubscribe” button.
